FAQ
How reliable are the matches?
If a variant's barcode appears in the notice, the match is certain. A matching model number or brand is a hint that you check against the linked official notice.
Which product data does the app use?
Title, barcode, SKU and vendor of your variants. The app only changes products if you turn it on in Pro: a tag on matches or “Draft” on a certain barcode match. It only creates recall pages when you click the button.
How current are the notices?
The app fetches the official lists regularly and caches them for at most six hours. With Basic and Pro it checks your products every day and new products right after saving.
What happens to my data?
The app only works with products, not with customers or orders. The official lists are fetched without your data; matching runs on our servers in Germany. For the email on new matches it stores the recipients you enter. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Does the app replace my own review?
No. It finds possible matches faster. Whether a product is affected and what to do, you decide based on the official notice.
